TWCTC - Temporary Works Coordinator Course

The Temporary Works Co-ordinator Training Course also known by the acronym TWCTC is a two day course, and is one of the most recent additions to the Site Safe Plus range of courses.


Who is the TWCTC aimed at?

This course is aimed at those involved in the management and coordination of temporary works within construction and civil engineering projects.

Open course dates for TWCTC are available at venues throughout the United Kingdom, but dedicated courses can also be arranged where there are sufficient delegates.


Course Overview

One of the primary inputs for this course is the requirements of BS5975: the Code of practice for temporary works procedures and the permissible stress design of falsework. The course includes:

  • The duties of the TWC (Temporary Work Coordinator) and the management of temporary works.
  • Legal requirements associated with temporary works.
  • The use of risk assessments and method statements and understanding the roles of others.


What are the Course Outcomes of the Course?

To pass the course delegates must attend both days of the course and successfully pass a multiple choice questionnaire at the end of the course.

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a certificate that is valid for 5 years.
